2013 Monday Night Raw Reviews

1/7/13 Raw

Opening segment: Your typical Cena promo, though it made the next match.

John Cena vs. Dolph Ziggler: Solid match.

Kaitlyn vs. Eve Torres: Solid match actually.

Team Hell No vs. Rhodes Scholars: Decent match.

Randy Orton vs. Heath Slater: Squash.

Wade Barrett vs. Santino Marella: Squash.

Antonio Cesaro vs. Great Khali: Squash.

Sheamus vs. Jinder Mahal: Squash.

Ryback vs. CM Punk: Average TLC match as the match just isn't made for people like Ryback.

Big Show vs. Kofi Kingston: Squash.

Final segment: Very good Punk/Rock promo exchange, though it makes the Kofi squash unnecessary as it was between two Punk segments.

Not the best show. Way too many squashes and TLC is made for high flyers, not guys like Ryback.

Grade: C-

1/14/13 Raw

Opening segment: This wasn't a bad segment as it got ADR more over as a babyface.

Wade Barrett vs. Randy Orton: Solid match but overdone.

Kane vs. Damien Sandow: Squash.

Ryback promo: Foley goes to talk in the ring about his HoF induction, the Shield interrupts, and Ryback, Sheamus, and Orton save him, and Ryback cuts probably his best promo ever.

Kaitlyn vs. Eve Torres: Eve's last match in a Divas title match that's actually good.

CM Punk vs. Brodus Clay: Squash.

Sheamus vs. 3MB: Heath Slater actually wins this mini Rumble but Sheamus gets his heat back afterwards as expected.

MizTV: This actually wasn't bad as Ric Flair was the guest.

Daniel Bryan vs. Cody Rhodes: Squash.

John Cena vs. Dolph Ziggler: Solid match.

Rock Concert: This was a great segment to close the show.

Not a bad show despite the bad booking of Rhodes and Sandow.

Grade: B

1/21/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very average Vickie/Heyman promo.

Randy Orton vs. Antonio Cesaro: Solid match.

Big Show vs. Zack Ryder: Squash.

Ryback vs. Heath Slater: Squash.

Punk promo: Very good promo on the Rock.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Miz: Solid match.

Anger management graduation: Not a great segment.

Kaitlyn vs. Alicia Fox: Not a great match.

Heyman/Rock promo: Very good promo.

Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett: Decent match.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Tensai: Squash.

Final segment: Very bad Cena promo to end the Rumble build.

Not a great show. Very boring.

Grade: C

1/28/13 Raw

Opening segment: Pretty solid Punk promo.

Randy Orton vs. Antonio Cesaro: Decent match, albeit overdone.

Ryback/PTP Laughoff: Very boring segment with Ryback destroying the PTP.

Wade Barrett vs. Bo Dallas: Very dull match that resulted in Dallas winning cleanly and beating the IC champ.

John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes: Squash. Cena cuts a good promo afterwards until the Shield come out.

Brodus/Tensai danceoff: Very bad with Tensai wearing lingerie as Brodus forgot to tell him it was a danceoff.

Big Show/Alberto segment: Good segment with Show duct taping ADR to the rope while beating up Ricardo Rodriguez.

Kaitlyn vs. Tamina Snuka: Very bad lumberjill match with Layla, Rosa, Aksana, Alicia, and the Funkadactyls around the ring in Vegas showgirl outfits.

Punk/Rock promo: Very good promo exchange between the two.

Damien Sandow vs. Sheamus: Very good tables match.

Khali/Ryder karaoke: Another very bad segment.

Team Hell No vs. Chris Jericho/Dolph Ziggler: More of an angle than a match.

Vince/Heyman promo: Very good segment with Lesnar returning to F5 Vince as he's about to fire Heyman.

Not a good show, with the danceoff, laughoff, karaoke, and lumberjill match probably being contenders for the worst segments of the year.

Grade: D+

2/4/13 Raw

Opening segment: Solid Punk promo that decides Punk's match for later.

Ryback vs. Antonio Cesaro: Decent match.

Jack Swagger vs. Santino Marella: Squash.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Cody Rhodes: Squash.

Daniel Bryan vs. Rey Mysterio: Good match and Mark Henry returns to attack both of them and Sin Cara after the match.

Sheamus vs. Kane: Not a great match.

Miz TV: Not a great segment until Brock showed up to attack Miz.

Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett: Not a great match.

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho: Very good match.

Final segment: Very bad Maddox promo and the Shield attacks him before brawling with Cena, Sheamus, and Ryback.

Very boring show outside Punk/Jericho and Bryan/Rey.

Grade: C-

2/11/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very good Punk/Heyman promo.

Great Khali vs. Mark Henry: Squash with Hornswoggle taking the WSS after the match as well.

Daniel Bryan vs. Chris Jericho: Very good match.

Sheamus/Ryback/John Cena vs. 3MB: Squash.

Big Show interview: Show just KOs Matt Striker. That was it.

Jack Swagger vs. Zack Ryder: Squash.

Miz vs. Cody Rhodes: Not a great match as it was just there for Cesaro to swing Miz into the guardrail multiple times.

Brodus Clay/Tensai vs. Primo/Epico: Squash.

Shield promo: Decent promo, though as usual, it felt way too scripted.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Damien Sandow: Squash.

Wade Barrett vs. Kofi Kingston: Decent match.

Kane vs. Dolph Ziggler: Okay match.

Punk/Rock promo: Very disappointing Rock promo.

Very dull show before Elimination Chamber... way too many squashes and the final promo fell flat.

Grade: D

2/18/13 Raw

Opening segment: Bad Cena promo until Punk came out.

Mark Henry vs. Sin Cara: Squash.

Antonio Cesaro vs. Miz: Decent match but for a No DQ match it was very short.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Alberto Del Rio: Solid match.

Brodus Clay/Tensai/Naomi vs. Primo/Epico/Rosa Mendes: Bad match.

Jack Swagger vs. Daniel Bryan: Solid match.

Vickie/Heyman promo: Mostly filler as Vickie announces Maddox as her assistant and Vince announces that he'll be on Raw next week.

Shield vs. Sheamus/Ryback/Chris Jericho: Solid match.

Damien Sandow vs. Kofi Kingston: No match as it only served to return R-Truth.

Randy Orton vs. Kane: Not a great match.

Final segment: Decent Rock promo where he debuts his custom WWE title, which doesn't look any more prestigious than the spinner.

Not a great show again. Very hit/miss and it felt like a filler show that hyped up next week and nothing more.

Grade: C

2/25/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very good Vince/Heyman promo that results in them hitting each other with crutches, until Lesnar comes out and HHH returns before Lesnar can attack Vince.

Ryback vs. Dolph Ziggler: Not a great match.

Punk promo: Very good as usual, promoting the main event.

Mark Henry vs. Great Khali: Squash.

MizTV: This was actually good with Swagger and Zeb Colter being the guests and ADR and Ricardo getting involved too.

Randy Orton vs. Antonio Cesaro: Not a great match as it was very short.

Sheamus/Barrett segment: Very bad segment regarding Wade's part in a movie.

R-Truth vs. Cody Rhodes: Squash.

Team Hell No vs. Prime Time Players: Not a great match with Bryan being blindfolded and Kane having an arm tied behind his back.

Shield promo: Like usual, decent but obviously scripted.

Miz vs. Jack Swagger: Not a great match.

John Cena vs. CM Punk: Very good main event and a MOTY candidate with Cena retaining his title shot.

Outside of the main event this show was VERY dull, which isn't a good thing during the Road to WM.

Grade: C+

3/4/13 Raw

Opening segment: Good promo that made the main event, where the winner faces Undertaker at WM.

Ryback vs. Antonio Cesaro: Not a great match.

Mark Henry vs. Zack Ryder: Squash.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Miz: Good match, though Dolph tapping out to Miz is ridiculous.

Rock/Cena promo: Very good promo exchange.

Jack Swagger vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan: No match as Swagger attacks Duggan, Slaughter, and Dusty with the 2x4 and puts his finisher on Duggan.

Team Hell No vs. Prime Time Players: Not a great match.

Brodus Clay/Tensai vs. 3MB: Lasted a few seconds and only served for the purpose of Slater getting hit by a guitar.

Kofi Kingston vs. Fandango: No match because the announcers pronounced Fandango's name wrong. Cheap heat.

HHH promo: This was average at best.

Wade Barrett vs. Alberto Del Rio: Decent match but the IC champ loses another non-title match.

New Age Outlaws vs. Primo/Epico: Squash.

CM Punk vs. Randy Orton vs. Sheamus vs. Big Show: Disappointing main event as it was way too formulaic and predictable. Punk wins obviously.

For an Old School Raw this was a bad show as it felt like the usual show, only with old school decorations and a few legends. Those alone don't make a good show, especially during WM season. This show did a poor job of building Wrestlemania.

Grade: D+

3/11/13 Raw

Opening segment: Good Paul Bearer tribute and even though Punk interrupted, this wasn't nearly as bad as some of the other angles like this.

Big Show vs. Seth Rollins: Very predictable with the inevitable Shield beatdown.

Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler: Very good match.

Tensai vs. Fandango: No match as Tensai didn't pronounce his name right. Ugh.

Rhodes Scholars vs. New Age Outlaws: Not much of a match as Lesnar attacked the Outlaws shortly after it started.

Mark Henry vs. Kofi Kingston: Squash.

Ryback vs. Heath Slater: Squash.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Antonio Cesaro: Good match but Cesaro loses yet another non-title match.

Randy Orton/Sheamus vs. Rhodes Scholars: Decent match, though a little formulaic.

Highlight Reel: Very bad as it was about Miz and Barrett's movies more than anything else.

Chris Jericho vs. Miz: Not much of a match as it was just there for both of them to give Barrett their finishers at the end.

Jack Swagger vs. Sin Cara: Squash.

Kane vs. CM Punk: Very average No DQ match as it was slow paced and Kane's not in his prime anymore.

Another boring show on the Road to Wrestlemania. Way too much filler for a show on the Road to Wrestlemania.

Grade: D

3/18/13 Raw

John Cena vs. Darren Young: Squash after a very awkward Titus promo as "uncle pancake". This screamed "get Cena on the show" but didn't help Darren AT ALL.

Ryback vs. David Otunga: Squash.

Fandango vs. Great Khali: No match again as Natalya didn't pronounce Fandango's name right. Ugh.

R-Truth vs. Damien Sandow: Not a great match with Sandow walking out on R-Truth, who hasn't really been a big deal in the company since he turned face. Terrible.

Undertaker/Punk segment: Punk did a good job but it was just too short to build interest.

Team Hell No vs. Primo/Epico: Decent match but heatless and had a very screwy ending.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Cody Rhodes: Solid match with a great angle in Swagger breaking Ricardo's ankle after the match.

Sheamus/Randy Orton vs. 3MB: Squash.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston: Not a great match as it was way too short.

Miz vs. Wade Barrett vs. Chris Jericho: Good match with Barrett retaining the IC title.

HHH/Lesnar Contract signing: Not terrible but below expectations with it taking a while to get to the point and the stipulation being a No Holds Barred match, which is basically the same thing as the No DQ match at Summerslam.

Another very bad show. Wrestlemania is a few weeks away and they FINALLY made matches outside of the main ones with Ryback/Henry, Orton/Sheamus/Show vs. Shield, and Ziggler/Langston vs. Hell No being added. Combine all that with the pedestrian matches and you get a low score. Waiting till the last minute for Wrestlemania really has me worried about the rest of the year.

Grade: F

3/25/13 Raw

Opening segment: Another strong Taker/Punk promo exchange.

Chris Jericho vs. Dolph Ziggler: Good match despite the MITB holder losing again, and Fandango finally does something to gain real heat afterwards by attacking Jericho after he was attacked by Big E. Langston.

Mark Henry vs. Usos: Squash.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Antonio Cesaro: Not much of a match, but another great angle of Swagger slamming Ricardo's ankle into the barricade took place.

Team Hell No vs. Prime Time Players: Not a great match.

HHH promo: Your typical HHH promo until he kicks Barrett in the nuts, which was highly unecessary.

Wade Barrett vs. Miz: Not a good match with Barrett tapping out to Miz.

Shield vs. Zack Ryder/Justin Gabriel/Great Khali: Squash.

Rhodes Scholars vs. Brodus Clay/Tensai: Bad match.

Ryback vs. 3MB: Squash.

AJ vs. Kaitlyn: More of an angle than a match.

Final segment: Solid Cena/Rock promo with Foley, Bret, Dusty, and Booker T giving them all questions.

Not as bad as last week but still not good at all, as the show lost steam in the second and third hours until the final segment. Having squash after squash is just lazy booking.

Grade: D-

4/1/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very bad Cena promo.

Sheamus/Randy Orton/Big Show vs. 3MB: Squash.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Daniel Bryan: Solid match.

HBK/HHH promo: Good promo exchange as usual between the two.

Wade Barrett vs. Zack Ryder: Not a great match.

Mark Henry vs. Santino Marella: Squash.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Zeb Colter: All angle as expected as Zeb and Swagger take turns hitting ADR with crutches.

Rock promo: This was almost as bad as the Cena promo. This is all the time this feud got, so no, Cena and Rock didn't interact at all on this show. Ugh.

Antonio Cesaro vs. Chris Jericho: Solid match despite Cesaro tapping again, and Fandango attacks Jericho after the match again.

Funkadactyls vs. Bella Twins: Bad match.

Undertaker promo: Very good until druids came out, which led to Heyman coming out dressed up as Paul Bearer, and Undertaker attacked the druids until Punk attacked Cena and poured the ashes in the urn onto Undertaker. Not bad but this shouldn't close the final Raw heading into WM.

Another bad show. Cena and Rock had no interaction whatsoever and had bad promos, the WHC match only had 5 minutes dedicated to it, and full of predictable squashes. It just doesn't feel like what WM season is supposed to be.

Grade: D+

4/8/13 Raw

Opening segment: Your typical Cena promo, only in front of a loud crowd, that makes the main event.

Big E. Langston vs. Daniel Bryan: Bryan gets squashed by Langston. Ugh.

Miz vs. Wade Barrett: Good IC title match outside of Barrett winning it a day after he lost it, making the switch pointless.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger/Zeb Colter: Actually decent with Ziggler cashing in afterwards to become the new champ. Awesome.

Undertaker promo: Barely got started until the Shield interrupted. Before they could attack Taker, Team Hell No come out and the Shield retreat. Interesting.

Santino Marella/Zack Ryder/R-Truth vs. 3MB: Bad filler match.

Sheamus vs. Randy Orton: Bad match, but because of the crowd burying the match with numerous chants, notably "ole", "JBL", "HBK", "Mike Chioda", "Jerry", "Michael Cole", "ECW", "RVD", and "Randy Savage", along with the wave. Big Show interfered and got "Thank You Big Show", and "One More Chair". While Orton was checked on there was another "Jerry" chant, as well as a "We Are Awesome" chant and booing of Cena's picture when it showed up on the screen. It has to be seen to be believed.

Fandango vs. Kofi Kingston: No match as Jericho attacked Fandango as soon as the match started. It was awesome and included the fans humming Fandango's theme as a chant. Yeah.

Rhodes Scholars/Bella Twins vs. Tons Of Funk/Funkadactyls: Bad filler match that was supposed to be on WM but wasn't.

John Cena vs. Mark Henry: More of an angle than a match with Cena winning by countout in a couple minutes, then getting the WSS until Ryback comes out and turns heel by giving Cena his finisher to cheers.

The best Raw since mid January, mostly because of the crowd during Sheamus/Orton and Dolph's title win as well as the IC title match. Some of the usual problems still existed but this was a big step up.

Grade: B-

4/15/13 Raw

Randy Orton/Sheamus vs. Big Show: Not a great handicap match.

Lesnar/Heyman promo: Very good after a vicious beatdown on 3MB.

Kofi Kingston vs. Antonio Cesaro: Good match though Kofi winning a midcard title is overdone and it didn't feel as special as it should have with Cesaro losing every week for a month.

Ziggler promo: Pretty solid promo until ADR and Swagger come out. ADR vs. Ziggler was about to begin but Swagger attacked ADR's knee so no match.

Team Hell No vs. Prime Time Players: Not a great match.

Ryback promo: This did a good job of explaining why he attacked Cena, because Cena never was there for him when he was attacked by the Shield and that he wants the WWE title.

Wade Barrett vs. R-Truth: Bad match with Truth beating the new IC champ cleanly despite rarely appearing on Raw anymore.

Rhodes Scholars vs. Great Khali/Santino Marella: Bad and pointless filler match.

Fandango promo: Pretty bad as it reeked of WWE trying to run "fandangoing" into the ground after last week.

Dolph Ziggler vs.Jack Swagger: Not great as it was heel vs. heel and there wasn't any cheating and Dolph loses to Swagger. Swagger lost clean to ADR twice so him still being in the title picture makes no sense.

Punk promo: This was okay as it was basically done just to write Punk off for his time off.

Kaitlyn vs. Nikki Bella: Very bad match with Kaitlyn losing after the switcheroo. Another champ loses a non-title match.

Cena/Ryback promo: Not great with Cena coming off heelish in a way again saying that the WWE title means everything to him, and Ryback walking out on Cena until the Shield attacks him, which Ryback also walks away from. Ryback should not be booked as the typical cowardly heel.

The first hour was okay, but the show fell off a cliff for the final two hours with bad wrestling and terrible booking. Champions need to win non-title matches every once in a while so they actually look legit, which will bring prestige to the belts, that most of the belts don't have anymore.

Grade: D

4/22/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very average as the purpose was solely to have HHH pedigree Heyman again.

R-Truth vs. Antonio Cesaro: Squash.

Brodus Clay vs. Damien Sandow: Bad match.

Chris Jericho vs. Dolph Ziggler: Very good match with Dolph winning due to Fandango's music playing.

Tensai vs. Cody Rhodes: Bad match with Rhodes actually losing.

Big E. Langston vs. Zack Ryder: Squash.

Shield vs. Undertaker/Kane/Daniel Bryan: Very good match with the Shield being put over very well.

Fandango vs. William Regal: Regal gets squashed in England.

Divas battle royal: Very bad though AJ winning after playing possum after getting kicked in the face by Tamina was clever.

Final segment: Not very good as Ryback's not great on the mic and Cena overcame Ryback AND The Shield to close the show.

Two very good matches, but the rest was either filler or very badly booked. Cesaro getting squashed by R-Truth? Cody losing to Tensai? Cena overcoming four of the top heels at once?

Grade: D

4/29/13 Raw

Ricardo Rodriguez vs. Zeb Colter vs. Big E. Langston: Bizarre opener with Ricardo winning and ADR getting to pick the stipulation for Extreme Rules. Why were a manager and ring announcer involved in the opener with someone who can't carry? Just bizarre for the sake of being bizarre.

Make A Wish segment: While this was good for the kids, this reeked of getting the fans to cheer Cena, like the Komen segment reeked of trying to get Linda elected, as it would be terrible to boo this segment. Not complaining about the kids, as I know they got their wish (their ringnames were actually cool), but it's hard not to be skeptical when the Komen stuff stopped right after Linda lost.

Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes: Shockingly boring match. This was all resthold, punch, kick, and stomp until the trading of finishers.

Nikki Bella vs. Naomi: Bad "match" with Naomi winning by reverse decision after the switcheroo defeated her. Took SIX YEARS for this to happen?

Shield promo: Very good promo and beatdown of 3MB putting them over as heels.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston: Decent match but even as WHC, Dolph faces Kofi AGAIN! New matches, please!

Jack Swagger vs. Zack Ryder: Squash.

Mark Henry Tug Of War: Very boring with him beating Clay and Tensai with ease and then getting the Brogue Kick by Sheamus.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Antonio Cesaro: This was average as it felt way too choreographed and with too many restholds and punch/kick stuff.

Fandango/Great Khali danceoff: More lame filler with Khali actually winning and getting the top rope legdrop afterwards.

Shield vs. John Cena/Team Hell No: Good main event with Cena getting pinned for once.

Another mediocre Raw. The opener was too "Russo" for words, tons of filler, and the Orton and ADR matches just didn't click.

Grade: C-

5/6/13 Raw

Opening segment: Your typical Cena promo until Ryback came out and announced a LMS match.

Randy Orton vs. Damien Sandow: Basically an extended squash with Orton winning and Big Show KO'ing him right before he went backstage.

Fandango vs. R-Truth: Lasted one minute until Fandango walked out. Terrible.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Dolph Ziggler: Good match but no result with Jack Swagger beating everyone up. Dolph's looking VERY weak as champ.

Shield vs. Usos/Kofi Kingston: Decent match for a filler match, though the US champ was booked in a filler match to give someone else momentum...

Antonio Cesaro vs. Zack Ryder: Squash.

Lesnar/Heyman office invasion: They invade HHH's office and destroy it, which was awesome, until HHH comes out and no sells it with typical DX 2006/2009 jokes. Anticlimatic as hell.

Kaitlyn/Funkadactyls vs. AJ/Bella Twins: Bad match with the Bellas never tagging in ala 2010-2011.

Henry promo: Like the office invasion, solid until Sheamus came out and cut lame jokes.

Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett: Not great with the IC champ being used solely to give someone else momentum until Henry whips Sheamus with a belt.

Ryback vs. Kane: Bad main event with heel Ryback still not clicking.

Another bad show. Very little quality wrestling, ALL THREE singles champs looked weak, and way too much filler. What's the point of being an IC or US champ if you're still not going to do much more than Zack Ryder or Santino?

Grade: D

5/13/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very bad Jericho/Fandango danceoff that took 15 minutes.

Ryback vs. Zack Ryder: Squash.

Brodus Clay/Tensai vs. Prime Time Players: Bad one minute filler match.

Segment: With Dolph's concussion, ADR and Swagger will fight for #1 contendership at Extreme Rules.

Kofi Kingston vs. Damien Sandow: Squash.

Henry/Sheamus promo: Very average with Sheamus getting Henry out of the ring with a strap, despite Henry being much bigger.

Randy Orton vs. Antonio Cesaro: Decent until the RKO out of nowhere, which is so stale, resulting in another squash. It's not special anymore as it's done in every Orton match anymore.

Miz vs. Heath Slater: Not a great match and a WEAK way for Miz to return.

Shield vs. John Cena/Team Hell No: Great match until it became 3 on 1 with Cena ALMOST overcoming the Shield and winning via DQ instead. Terrible.

Jack Swagger vs. Big E. Langston: Bad and very long heel vs. heel match.

Natalya vs. AJ: All angle with AJ playing possum after falling to the floor, and then making Nattie tap out of nowhere.

Final segment: Your typical HHH promo until Lesnar got in the cage.

Another terrible Raw. Very poorly paced with the danceoff starting things, rushed matches, a heel vs. heel match being the second longest match of the show, and the elimination match taking place at the end of the second hour. The WWE app was promoted more than the PPV too. The elimination match minus the booking barely saves this from an F.

Grade: D-

5/20/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very solid Ryback promo on top of an ambulance.

Miz/Chris Jericho vs. Wade Barrett/Fandango: Not much of a match as the second half of it was focused on Fandango dancing at ringside and Barrett takes another loss.

Sheamus vs. Titus O'Neil: Surprisingly solid match as it got six minutes.

Heyman promo: He announces his newest Paul Heyman guy, Curtis Axel, aka Michael McGillicutty, and HHH comes out to challenge him to a match. Considering that Punk and Lesnar are his other clients, this really fell flat.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Big E. Langston: Decent match because of the carryjob and Langston actually wins. Interesting.

AJ vs. Layla: Squash.

Cody Rhodes vs. Zack Ryder: Complete filler match with both guys getting the ultimate disrespect with the match being joined in progress. Not good and Rhodes wins before Ryback comes out, destroys Ryder again, and throws him in the ambulance, which drives off.

Shield vs. Kofi Kingston/Team Hell No: Great match, probably the MOTY, and the Shield remains undefeated as a unit.

Randy Orton vs. Jack Swagger: Solid match.

HHH vs. Curtis Axel: Not a great main event as HHH wasn't able to continue after a few minutes of mostly being in control. Very anticlimatic and didn't really put Axel over.

Average leaning towards good show. The main event ended the show on a bad note, but the six man is really worth checking out if you missed it, and it lasts MUCH longer than the main event.

Grade: B-

5/27/13 Raw

Opening segment: Typical Cena/Ryback promo until Heyman comes out to make Axel vs. Cena in the main event.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Big E. Langston: Decent match but with ADR winning.

Dean Ambrose vs. Kofi Kingston: Solid US title match.

Shield vs. Team Hell No: Very good tag title match.

Fandango vs. Wade Barrett: Bad match with Barrett losing another non-title match and Miz kicking Fandango and counting the three when Summer Rae was on top of Fandango while checking on him for some weird reason.

Great Khali/Tons Of Funk vs. 3MB: Bad filler match and Khali sings happy birthday to Natalya.

Highlight Reel: Very good Jericho/Heyman promo exchange that sets up Punk/Jericho for Payback.

Bella Twins vs. Natalya/Kaitlyn: Bad match with the Bellas singing "happy birthday dear loser" to Natalya afterwards.

Rhodes Scholars vs. Randy Orton/Sheamus: Good match but a stale result with Orton/Sheamus winning once again. Rhodes Scholars winning would have been something different and given all these guys direction.

John Cena vs. Curtis Axel: Solid match but Axel won... by countout. This does NOTHING for Axel as he just doesn't feel legit, which a pinfall win over Cena would have done, and Cena's at the point where a loss wouldn't hurt him in any way. He's been the top guy for eight years!

The first hour of this show was awesome, but the show took a hit in the last two hours with lame booking and bad filler. Axel gets no rub from beating Cena by countout and Cena not being upset, Barrett still hasn't won a match after winning the IC title, and Sheamus and Orton beating midcarders cleanly is beyond boring anymore.

Grade: C

6/3/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very bad Vince/Stephanie promo where they came off as heels, and Stephanie said that Curtis Axel is below HHH. Way to put him over.

Shield vs. Team Hell No/Randy Orton: The typical good 6 man Shield tag.

Usos vs. Prime Time Players: Decent match, though it was filler. I don't buy the face paint leading to a real push as everything else the Usos have tried hasn't.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Big E. Langston: Very average match and these matches are getting repetitive as it reeks of having no plan B.

Sheamus vs. Cody Rhodes: Decent match but once again Sheamus beats a midcarder while having no direction.

Fandango vs. Great Khali: Bad match until Fandango runs away.

Miz vs. Wade Barrett: Not a great match with Barrett tapping once again and still being winless since winning the IC title. Why even put the title on him if he isn't going to win, ever?

Contract signing: Shockingly boring and lame for a Jericho/Heyman promo and it ends with Jericho stuffing the contract in Heyman's pants, telling him it should be signed there.

AJ/Bella Twins vs. Kaitlyn/Funkadactyls: Bad match.

Ryback vs. Daniel Bryan: Very good match.

John Cena vs. Curtis Axel: Decent no DQ match, but flat booking with Ryback putting Cena through a table, yet Axel STILL wins by countout and his music doesn't even play. Way to put him over. Is being put through a table by Ryback still not enough for Cena to take a pinfall loss.

Some good matches but terrible booking all night and the second hour was just filler, period. This show really felt like it was written live like the reports said.

Grade: D+

6/10/13 Raw

HHH vs. Curtis Axel: No match as Vince kept stopping the match and HHH kept restarting it until Vince took the bell and microphone and left. Axel still isn't put over properly.

Kane vs. Dean Ambrose: Decent match.

Miz vs. Cody Rhodes: Squash and Axel takes Fandango's place in the IC title match.

Jericho/Dolph promo: This actually fell flat because Jericho's promo here was almost at the level of last week's.

Chris Jericho vs. Big E. Langston: Not a great match.

Sin Cara vs. Antonio Cesaro: Decent filler match.

Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns: Very bad match with it mostly striking at a slow pace.

Daniel Bryan vs. Seth Rollins: Very good match with Bryan's push continuing.

AJ/Kaitlyn promo: Kaitlyn's admirer turns out to be Big E. Langston, but it turns out to be a setup when Langston drops Kaitlyn on the mat and AJ comes out to cut a great promo on her.

Damien Sandow vs. R-Truth: Squash.

Final segment: Very bad Cena/Ryback promo exchange with lumberjacks in between the two.

Another mediocre Raw as the show was built around Vince, Stephanie, and HHH all night, and did a very poor job of promoting Payback as a result as HHH isn't wrestling at Payback.

Grade: C-

6/17/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very good Punk/ADR promo exchange that made the main event.

Christian vs. Wade Barrett: Solid match.

Sheamus vs. Rhodes Scholars: Solid match.

Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan: Very good No DQ match.

AJ promo: Very good outside of Stephanie interrupting her for some reason.

Dean Ambrose vs. Kane: Not much of a match.

Antonio Cesaro vs. William Regal: Squash.

Cena/Henry promo: Cena cuts a promo, then Henry comes out to announce his retirement, only to give Cena the WSS. Very well done.

Chris Jericho vs. Heath Slater: Squash.

Curtis Axel vs. Sin Cara: Squash.

CM Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio: Solid main event with ADR getting counted out, and Lesnar coming to the ring and F5'ing Punk.

Good episode outside of the squashes.

Grade: B+

6/24/13 Raw

Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan: All angle to make it a gimmick match main event.

Rhodes Scholars vs. Sheamus/Christian: Solid match.

Kaitlyn vs. Aksana: Squash with AJ mocking Kaitlyn after the match for looking like a man. This was below recent weeks as it was very similar to the Piggie James stuff a few years ago.

Chris Jericho vs. Alberto Del Rio: Solid match.

Segment: This was filler to reveal the cover of WWE 2014.

Ryback vs. Great Khali: Squash.

Cena promo: This was serious, but felt WAY too scripted.

Tons Of Funk vs. 3MB vs. Usos: #1 contender's match that lasted ONE MINUTE.

Punk/Heyman promo: Very solid until Punk reconciled with Heyman.

CM Punk vs. Darren Young: Very bad and confusing match with Punk reconciling with Heyman, then wrestling a heel.

Segment: Stephanie announces the MITB participants. This needed a promo?

Henry promo: Very solid, though Cena and Henry had no interaction whatsoever.

Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton: Very good streetfight with Bryan actually making Orton tap.

Weak Raw with Bryan/Orton and Punk/Heyman the only things that really stood out. A load of filler otherwise.

Grade: C

7/1/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very solid promo exchange involving the MITB competitors.

Christian/Usos vs. Shield: Solid match.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Jinder Mahal: Dull match with Dolph overcoming all of 3MB at the end.

Randy Orton vs. Kane: Bad match with Kane winning by DQ, then the match being restarted, then Kane winning by fast count.

Sheamus vs. Fandango: Bad match with Fandango running away from Sheamus.

Ryback vs. Miz: Bad match with Ryback forfeiting the match against MIZ, and then getting the codebreaker.

Henry promo: Very boring because of the crowd and backstage politics being mentioned throughout it.

CM Punk/Curtis Axel vs. Prime Time Players: Bad match as it was all angle AND heel vs. heel. Bad thing to do with a dead crowd.

Kaitlyn vs. Alicia Fox: Squash with Alicia getting pinned by the spear after getting all the offense. Weak. AJ shows a doctored picture of Kaitlyn looking fat modeling afterwards. Ugh.

Antonio Cesaro vs. Cody Rhodes: The second heel vs. heel match of the night and it was a squash.

John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio: Okay main event, mainly because it didn't live up to the hype with the video packages of Bruno, Flair, Hogan, etc., had another screwy finish, and Cena and Henry face off after the match.

Very bad show, filled with screwy finishes, heel vs. heel matches, and bad wrestling, topped off with a dead crowd. Shame because the first half hour or so was pretty good.

Grade: D-

7/8/13 Raw

Opening segment: Typical Vickie promo that announces some matches.

Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan: Very good match with Bryan actually winning.

Shield vs. Tons Of Funk: This was actually a pretty decent match.

Cena/Henry promo: This was very solid despite Cena's schtick appearing a couple times.

Chris Jericho vs. Curtis Axel: Solid match.

Sin Cara vs. Alberto Del Rio: This was pretty much all angle as Dolph came out shortly after the match started.

Vickie Guerrero job evaluation: Very bad with Vickie getting fired, only to be replaced by Brad Maddox, another heel GM.

Kane vs. Christian: Decent match with an abrupt finish, only for Kane to be destroyed by the Wyatt Family afterwards. Good segment.

Layla/Kaitlyn vs. AJ/Alicia Fox: All angle.

Randy Orton vs. CM Punk: Very good main event.

Much better show than last week that had good matches and did a great job building MITB.

Grade: B

7/15/13 Raw

Opening segment: Solid opening segment outside of Cena's schtick, with Maddox cutting his best promo yet.

Randy Orton vs. Fandango: This was actually a solid match.

Henry promo: Very good until the Shield attack him, turning Henry face.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Dolph Ziggler: Very good match with Del Rio retaining the title because of AJ interference and Langston gives Dolph his finisher, cememnting Dolph's face turn.

R-Truth vs. ?: No match as the Wyatt family attacks R-Truth twice with a very good Bray promo in between the attacks.

Usos vs. Jack Swagger/Antonio Cesaro: The Usos win in a very rushed match.

Damien Sandow vs. Christian: Solid match with Cody turning face afterwards attacking Sandow during his post match promo.

Naomi vs. Brie Bella: Not a great match.

Punk/Heyman promo: Very good promo between the two until Lesnar comes out and F5's Punk on the announce table.

Rob Van Dam vs. Chris Jericho: Very good match.

Final segment: This was mainly filled with the usual Cena "comedy" until he picked Daniel Bryan as his Summerslam opponent to an epic reaction.

Very good show and probably best of the year, with lots of good matches, good MITB fallout, and two face turns.

Grade: A-

7/22/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very mediocre, with Cena, Bryan, and Maddox all coming off obviously scripted.

Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio: Technically sond, yet dull, match because of their lack of in-ring charisma.

Christian vs. Titus O'Neil: Mediocre filler match.

Henry promo: Nothing really of note as the Shield attacked him while he cut a promo until the Usos made the save.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Darren Young: Another mediocre filler match.

Miz TV: Very lame with the purpose being for Eva Marie to slap Lawler. Yep.

Fandango vs. Cody Rhodes: The best match so far but still nothing memorable as Fandango lost to Cody, who lost to everyone but Zack Ryder before turning face, despite Sandow interference. This is the same guy who beat Jericho clean at WRESTLEMANIA.

Punk/Heyman promo: Not as good as last week by any means but still very good.

Rob Van Dam vs. Wade Barrett: By far the best match of the show so far, despite it being just another filler match with the outcome never in doubt. Barrett was the leader of the hottest thing in wrestling three years ago and three years later he's been on a three month losing streak...

Daniel Bryan gauntlet: He beats Swagger in what was almost a glorified squash, then beats Cesaro in an AWESOME 20 minute match, then beats Ryback... by DQ. Bryan can't beat the guy who forfeited to Miz cleanly? Cena makes the save, setting up Cena/Ryback next week, and while Bryan gets his music played at the end, Bryan still should have beat Ryback cleanly.

Outside of Punk, Heyman, Bryan, and Cesaro this show was very pedestrian, with hardly any storyline development. The Total Divas got the third most storyline focus!

Grade: D+

7/29/13 Raw

Opening segment: Solid Vince/Bryan promo to start the show.

Shield vs. Usos/Mark Henry: Good match with Henry attacking the Shield after they won.

Rob Van Dam vs. Fandango: Decent match outside of the countout. Fandango can lose cleanly to Cody but not RVD? Come on... RVD already feels like "just another guy" on the roster, and it's only been WEEKS!

Kaitlyn vs. AJ Lee: Decent match with Kaitlyn getting another title shot with the win.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Big E. Langston: Okay match but a DQ finish.

Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio: Solid match with Christian winning.

Cody Rhodes vs. Wade Barrett: Meh match with Barrett losing once again and Sandow cutting a promo afterwards.

Kane vs. Daniel Bryan: Good match with Bryan winning, but Bryan gets chokeslammed afterwards before Kane gets attacked by the Wyatt Family. Did Bryan just put over another storyline despite being #1 contender?

Brie Bella vs. Natalya: Bad match with Nattie losing as a result of Nikki making duck sounds out of a kazoo, as Nattie was labeled the "ugly duckling" of Total Divas. Lame!

Curtis Axel vs. R-Truth: Punk runs in and attacks Axel a minute after the match starts. Another champ putting over a storyline he's not in.

John Cena vs. Ryback: Very average tables match.

Very average show. Most of the wrestling was good, but the booking was off all night, hardly ANYTHING happened, and 10 matches just made the show drag as only a couple got decent time. This felt like a glorified Smackdown, but with an extra hour to it.

Grade: C

8/5/13 Raw

Opening segment: Started off confusing but got good when Bryan didn't turn heel.

Rob Van Dam vs. Alberto Del Rio: Decent match but ADR loses a non-title match and attacks Ricardo after the match.

Rhodes/Sandow promo: Very good with Sandow finally getting his MITB briefcase back.

Ryback vs. Mark Henry: Ryback gets counted out in a minute. Huh?

Cena/Orton promo: Very good until the Shield come out, and Bryan evens the odds before they attack.

Wyatt Family vs. Tons Of Funk: Squash and Wyatt cuts a promo afterwards until Kane cuts a promo on him from the titantron.

Layla vs. Kaitlyn: Bad match.

Christian vs. Heath Slater: Decent match.

CM Punk vs. Curtis Axel: Solid match until Punk tries to attack Heyman, leading to Lesnar destroying him.

Kofi Kingston vs. Fandango: Decent match with Kofi actually winning.

Usos vs. Real Americans: Solid match.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Big E. Langston: Okay match with Langston actually winning.

John Cena/Randy Orton/Daniel Bryan vs. Shield: Decent main event but disappointing.

Solid show after a couple mediocre shows. Plenty of good wrestling and more stuff happened this week than in the last couple.

Grade: B+

8/12/13 Raw

Daniel Bryan vs. Wade Barrett: Good match outside of Barrett winning by a fast count by Brad Maddox. I get the idea but this is Barrett's first win on a major show since April!

Randy Orton vs. Damien Sandow: Very average match.

Great Khali/Natalya vs. AJ Lee/Big E. Langston: Weak match with Khali and Natalya actually winning cleanly, with a screwed up finish that made AJ look weak and exposed the business.

Vince/Maddox/HHH promo: Vince was about to name Maddox guest ref for Cena/Bryan but HHH names himself ref instead. Bad segment as this means that Cena/Bryan will be full of McMahon schenanigans.

Kane vs. Titus O'Neil: Squash with another Wyatt promo afterwards.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Kofi Kingston: Very average match.

Usos vs. Real Americans: Another average match.

Miz TV: Very good Bryan/Cena promo exchange, though HHH as ref still has me worried.

Fandango vs. R-Truth: No match as it turns into a dance off then a brawl. Fandango beats Jericho at WM and a few months later he's doing this?

Battle Royal: Very average with RVD winning to challenge Ambrose for the US title... on the preshow. Yep.

Final segment: Solid Punk/Heyman promo that results in Punk beating up Lesnar to close the show.

A very weak and bizarrely booked Raw. Only Cena/Bryan and Punk/Lesnar got decent build, and Cena/Bryan now has HHH as ref which could mean that Bryan won't get his title win. Lots of filler too.

Grade: D

8/19/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very strong Bryan/Stephanie promo exchange with Stephanie solidifying her heel status.

Damien Sandow vs. Cody Rhodes: Very good match.

Heyman promo: A solid promo to build towards a Punk/Heyman confrontation later.

Funkadactyls vs. AJ Lee/Layla: Bad filler match with the team AJ's on losing because they're not on Total Divas.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Shield: Solid handicap match.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Sin Cara: All angle.

Prime Time Players vs. Real Americans: The PTP win their first match as babyfaces in a shockingly good match.

Big Show vs. Shield: Much weaker handicap match than the previous one.

Punk/Heyman promo: Very solid promo as usual until Punk beats down Curtis Axel. The IC champ is being used to put over his manager's story!

Bray Wyatt vs. R-Truth: Squash.

Usos vs. 3MB: Decent match but completely pointless also.

Miz vs. Wade Barrett: Very weak match until Fandango runs in while Barrett's in the figure four.

Final segment: Very good Bryan/McMahons promo tht put over Corporation 2013 in Vince, Stephanie, HHH, The Shield, and Orton.

A much better Raw than last week and most of the Raws in the Summerslam build. The mic work was all on point and the matches weren't too bad either.

Grade: B

8/26/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very good Bryan/HHH promo exchange that made the main event.

Cody Rhodes vs. Fandango: Very rushed match.

Cody Rhodes/Miz vs. Damien Sandow/Fandango: Decent match at best as it was very short.

CM Punk vs. Curtis Axel: Solid match with Punk winning and getting Heyman in the ring, until Axel atatcks him from behind.

Natalya vs. Brie Bella: Bad match but this is more known for AJ's "pipebomb" after the match.

Rob Van Dam vs. Alberto Del Rio: Decent match though it's stupid to give away PPV matches for free.

Randy Orton vs. Christian: Solid match as expected.

Titus O'Neil vs. Jack Swagger: Weak match with Titus winning to continue the PTP face push that happened for obvious reasons.

Daniel Bryan vs. Shield: Bryan beats Rollins then wins by DQ against Ambrose then the match has bo result.

Very solid show despite a few of the usual flaws like giving away RVD/ADR on Raw again (why pay to see it when it's been seen at least three times on Raw and Smackdown?).

Grade: B+

9/2/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very good HHH/Orton/Bryan promo exchange.

Miz vs. Fandango: Decent match actually.

Ryback vs. Dolph Ziggler: Dolph loses in an extended squash. Terrible.

Prime Time Players vs. 3MB: Very average match.

Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes: Very good match with Rhodes having to storyline retire because of the loss.

Punk promo: Very good promo on Heyman as usual.

Natalya vs. Naomi vs. Brie Bella: Bad match until AJ interferes a minute in.

Rob Van Dam vs. Damien Sandow: Very solid match.

Daniel Bryan vs. Big Show: Mostly an angle but still a solid main event too.

Another solid Raw, with good matches and great NOC buildup.

Grade: B+

9/9/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very good Edge/HHH promo exchange.

Kofi Kingston vs. Curtis Axel: solid match.

Bray Wyatt vs. Dolph Ziggler: Not a great match with Dolph actually losing.

Heyman promo: Very good with Heyman getting examined by doctors, revealing that he's fine, and punk attacks him.

Brie Bella/Natalya/Naomi vs. Layla/Aksana/Alicia Fox: Bad match.

Alberto Del Rio vs. R-Truth: Very dull extended squash.

Santino Marella vs. Antonio Cesaro: Weak match with Santino actually winning. Yeah, it's Santino's hometown but stuff like this is why 3MB is around.

Miz vs. Damien Sandow: Another weak match with sandow getting his first win since winning the MITB briefcase because of Fandango. Lame.

Randy Orton vs. Goldust: Very good match for what it was.

Rob Van Dam vs. Ryback: Not a great match with RVD winning by DQ. Ryback can't lose to RVD clean?

Daniel Bryan vs. Dean Ambrose: Very good main event with Bryan FINALLY coming out on top to close a show.

Very mediocre go-home Raw, mainly because of the lame midcard booking.

Grade: C-

9/16/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very solid Bryan/HHH/Stephanie promo where Bryan gets his title stripped due to the fast count, but it won't go back to Orton. Hmmm...

Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler: Solid match and Dolph's first win in a month.

Fandango vs. R-Truth: Very dull match.

Stephanie/Dusty promo: very good where she forces Big Show to KO Dusty.

Brie Bella/Funkadactyls vs. Layla/Aksana/Alicia Fox: Very bad match.

Rob Van Dam vs. Damien Sandow: Very rushed match.

Randy Orton vs. Miz: All angle as it's just an orton beatdown.

Ryback/Heyman promo: This was basically done to introduce Ryback as the newest Paul Heyman guy, though this means that Punk/Heyman will still continue.

Tons Of Funk vs. Real Americans vs. Usos: Good match with the Usos getting the tag title shot.

Daniel Bryan vs. Roman Reigns: Solid main event mainly due to the carryjob.

Very average show, as all the filler in the middle brought this down a lot.

Grade: C

9/23/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very illogical opening segment by punishing the 10 who saved Bryan by putting them and Bryan in an elimination handicap match against The Shield. Yeah, 11 on 3 is such a punishment.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Kofi Kingston: Solid match.

Wyatt Family vs. Prime Time Players: Very bad match.

Miz TV: Your typical Miz TV outside of Stephanie saying that Miz peaked too soon.

Rob Van Dam vs. Randy Orton: All angle with Orton destroying RVD pretty much.

Fandango vs. Santino Marella: Squash.

Punk/Heyman promo: Solid as usual though also weaker than usual as the Punk/Heyman feud's starting to really get stale as it just screams "give Punk something to do!" without him being in Bryan's storyline and Ryback's just an excuse to drag it out some more.

Natalya/Bella Twins/Funkadactyls vs. Alicia Fox/Aksana/Layla/Tamina/AJ Lee: Complete nothing match as it lasted a minute.

Shield vs. Usos/Prime Time Players/Rob Van Dam/Justin Gabriel/Zack Ryder/Kofi Kingston/R-Truth/Dolph Ziggler/Daniel Bryan: Very good main event despite the lack of logic.

Very weak show with tons of filler in the middle as usual and I still don't understand how having eight more guys than the opposition is a punishment.

Grade: D

9/30/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very solid Punk promo where he calls out Axel but gets Langston instead.

CM Punk vs. Big E. Langston: Decent opener because of the carryjob.

Fandango vs. Kofi Kingston: A complete two minute filler match with Fandango losing.

Los Matadores vs. 3MB: The debut of Primo and Epico in a 1995 WWF gimmick in a meh match.

HHH/Stephanie promo: Very good with Goldust and Cody getting an opportunity to get their jobs back against the Shield, and them getting beat down by the Shield after the announcement.

R-Truth vs. Curtis Axel: Complete nothing match with Axel losing because of Punk's music.

Brie Bella vs. Alicia Fox: Not a great match.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Zack Ryder: Not a great match and Ryder gets the most offense in a match he's got in months... against the WHC on the Raw right before his match with RVD.

Heyman/Ryback promo: Very awkward with Heyman actually proposing to Ryback so he will become a Paul Heyman guy, until Punk comes out before Ryback can say yes and attcaks Ryback and Axel.

Usos/Dolph Ziggler vs. Shield: Very solid match.

Santino Marella vs. Antonio Cesaro: Weak match outside of Cesaro swinging Santino around, and Cesaro loses to Santino once again. Lame.

Final segment: Decent Orton/Bryan promo with Orton attacking Bryan, though I'm not sure about Brie Bella getting involved in this feud...

Another weak show. Way too much filler for a go-home show and weak matches for the most part.

Grade: D+

10/7/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very mediocre with Big Show getting storyline fired by Stephanie... another Big Show sympathy storyline that will likely build to Big Show/HHH in 2013.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Damien Sandow: Solid match.

Natalya/Eva Marie/JoJo vs. Aksana/Alicia Fox/Rosa Mendes: Terrible match as expected.

Los Matadores vs. 3MB: Squash.

Punk/Heyman promo: More of the usual as this storyline's way past its expiration date.

CM Punk/R-Truth vs. Curtis Axel/Ryback: Very dull match with Truth pinning Axel.

Randy Orton vs. Kofi Kingston: Solid match though Orton's once again in the middle of the show as the top heel.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Ricardo Rodriguez: Ricardo wins in seconds because of Vickie, only to get destroyed by ADR afterwards. Cena gets a WHC shot too.

Fandango vs. Zack Ryder: Squash.

Real Americans vs. Santino Marella/Great Khali: Very weak filler match outside of Cesaro swinging Khali around the ring.

Miz TV: All this was for was to start a Bray/Miz feud. He goes from Kane, to Kofi, to Miz...

Shield vs. Daniel Bryan/Goldust/Cody Rhodes: Solid match with Bryan standing tall once again.

Another terrible Raw. Way too much filler, there still hasn't been a WWE champ for a MONTH, building Big Show/HHH, a feud that doesn't help anybody, continuing Punk/Heyman (5 MONTHS!), and the Corporation storyline losing almost all its structure.

Grade: D

10/14/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very solid Orton/HBK promo that made the first match.

Randy Orton vs. Miz: Very weak match with Orton only winning because of the Wyatts. The #1 contender needs a distraction to beat MIZ?

Fandango vs. Santino Marella: Complete nothing match.

Los Matadores vs. 3MB: Okay match but this is Los Matadores' 5th match, and their 4th against 3MB. Same result every match too.

HHH/Stephanie promo: Not bad but this was to put over HHH, who is in a non-wrestling role, and is in a feud with Big Show in 2013, is until Bryan came out and ADR attacked him.

Ryback vs. R-Truth: Extended Beat The Clock squash.

Tons Of Funk vs. Real Americans: Solid match but it had no point whatsoever.

Tamina Snuka vs. Brie Bella: Extended squash.

CM Punk vs. Curtis Axel: Solid match with Punk winning and beating the clock and choosing to face Ryback and Heyman at HIAC.

Daniel Bryan vs. Alberto Del Rio: Solid match until Orton threatened Brie Bella backstage.

Goldust/Cody Rhodes vs. Shield: Very good main event with the Shield losing the titles because of Big Show.

Very average show, with hardly anything happening at all in the first two hours, and the final hour ending this show on a good note, but the first two hours reeked of how a 1999 Nitro was laid out with all the filler.

Grade: C

10/21/13 Raw

Opening segment: A HHH/Stephanie/Big Show promo exchange for the HHH/Big Show feud in 2013, 13 years after the first one.

Daniel Bryan vs. Dean Ambrose: Very good match.

Punk promo: This was just a promo on Ryback and Heyman.

Santino Marella vs. Heath Slater: Bad match with Santino, Hornswoggle, Khali, AND Santino's cobra sock dressed as Elvis.

Randy Orton vs. Dolph Ziggler: Solid match despite it being another Orton midcard match despite being #1 contender.

Bella Twins vs. AJ Lee/Tamina Snuka: Not a great match.

Wyatt Family vs. Miz/Kofi Kingston: Decent match, though complete filler.

Big E. Langston vs. Curtis Axel: All angle to make a tag match.

CM Punk/Big E. Langston vs. Ryback/Curtis Axel: Decent tag match.

Tons Of Funk vs. Real Americans: Very weak filler match.

Shield vs. Usos: Very good match.

Final segment: Your typical contract signing with HHH and HBK doing most of the talking, despite Orton/Bryan being the actual title match, and the show closes with Big Show driving a truck to the ring in a lame ripoff of Austin driving the beer truck.

A very solid Raw, though there were still pointless filler matches, jobbers dressed as Elvis, and Big Show driving a truck to the ring. HIAC was built up perfectly and the wrestling was very solid.

Grade: B+

10/28/13 Raw

Opening segment: Cena's typical schtick until Sandow cuts a great promo on him... and cashes in his MITB.

John Cena vs. Damien Sandow: Good match with Sandow inevitably losing.

Dean Ambrose vs. Big E Langston: All angle to make this match.

Usos/Big E Langston vs. Shield: Decent tag match.

Bryan/HBK promo: Very good with Bryan making HBK tap until the Wyatts attack Bryan backstage. He goes from getting screwed out of the title to feuding with midcarders?

Los Matadores vs. 3MB: This is like the 6th match they've had together, the same result too. Something new please...

Bella Twins vs. AJ Lee/Tamina Snuka: Not a great match.

Kane vs. Miz: Squash and Kane turns heel once again, joining Stephanie. Lame. Kane heel/face turns don't have the impact they should, much like Big Show turns, because they happen almost annually.

CM Punk vs. Ryback: Not a great match as Punk destroys Ryback in under 5 minutes. The guy that was over as a monster face a year ago loses to Punk decisively in a few minutes... the Wyatts attack Punk too.

Cody Rhodes/Goldust vs. Real Americans: Very solid match with the Real Americans winning, though it makes Los Matadores beating the Real Americans at HIAC questionable.

Natalya vs. Summer Rae: Not a great match.

Final segment: Orton's championship celebration with Big show crashing the party. Orton vs. Big Show for the title in 2013...

Very hit/miss Raw. The first hour was good but the last two hours fell off a cliff, and they're risking wasting all of Bryan's momentum.

Grade: C-

11/4/13 Raw

CM Punk vs. Luke Harper: Solid match.

Ryback vs. Great Khali: Squash.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Kofi Kingston: Decent match but overdone and with the same result too.

Randy Orton vs. Big E Langston: Solid match.

Fandango/Summer Rae vs. Natalya/Tyson Kidd: Very average filler match.

John Cena/Cody Rhodes/Goldust vs. Damien Sandow/Real Americans: Solid match.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Curtis Axel: Very dull match.

Usos vs. 3MB: Squash.

Bella Twins/Eva Marie vs. AJ Lee/Tamina Snuka/Aksana: Not a great match with Tamina, AJ's muscle, actually getting pinned by Eva Marie.

Final segment: Bad segment where Big Show's rehired and features a handicap "match" between Show and the Shield/Orton that features Kane returning... maskless and in a suit and tie. Yeah.

Very bad show here. Lots of wrestling but way too much filler and Big Show is the main focus of the Authority storyline (in 2013, 18 years after his national TV debut in WCW) now while Bryan is put on the backburner despite being one of the most over wrestlers on the roster. Makes no sense.

Grade: D

11/11/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very "meh" promo exchange involving Orton and all the GMs that made the opening match.

Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes/Goldust: Solid match.

Los Matadores/Santino Marella vs. 3MB: Not a great match.

Damien Sandow vs. Kofi Kingston: Squash.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Curtis Axel: Not a great IC title match and Axel wins.

Tamina Snuka vs. Nikki Bella: Not a great match.

Fandango vs. Tyson Kidd: Very rushed match.

John Cena vs. Real Americans: Not very good with Cena winning and never being in any serious danger.

Ryback vs. R-Truth: Bad match with Truth actually winning.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Big E Langston: Bad match with ADR making Langston tap.

Heyman promo: This wasn't bad until punk attacked Heyman, signaling that this feud may not be over. Ugh.

CM Punk/Daniel Bryan vs. Shield: Solid main event until the Wyatts came out and got into a fight with the Shield.

Atrocious Raw. Lots of matches but very little were any good, and the booking was just atrocious with the unover Curtis Axel beating Dolph, Cena beating the #1 contenders cleanly, Ryback losing to R-Truth, and Langston tapping out to ADR just as his babyface push started.

Grade: D

11/18/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very mediocre promo exchange that made the opener.

Randy Orton vs. Brad Maddox: All angle, and a bad one as it's heel champ vs. heel authority figure.

Big E Langston vs. Curtis Axel: Not a great match but Axel finally loses the IC title here.

Musical Chairs: Very bad segment featuring the Total Divas and the regular divas.

Big Show vs. Ryback: Not a great match.

Real Americans vs. Miz/Kofi Kingston: Solid match with Miz finally turning heel again, costing them the match.

AJ Lee vs. Vickie Guerrero: Second heel champ vs. heel authority figure "match", and it was bad again as this featured them having Vickie faint in an angle to try and get out of the match, after AJ fainted at a recent house show because of dehydration. Terrible.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Damien Sandow: Not a great match as it was just a comedy "broadway brawl", where they just hit each other with musical instruments.

Cena/Del Rio promo: Very average promo exchange building their Survivor Series match.

R-Truth/Xavier Woods vs. 3MB: Decent match in Xavier's debut.

Florida Georgia Line concert: Boring...

Shield/Wyatt Family vs. CM Punk/Daniel Bryan/Usos/Cody Rhodes/Goldust: Very good main event and Rey returns after the match.

Very bad Raw once again. While it wasn't boring and the main event delivered, the Survivor Series buildup was terrible, as the show was focused on goofy comedy all night because of the country theme, and two non-wrestler matches in the same show is overkill, especially on the go-home episode for a big 4 PPV.

Grade: D

11/25/13 Raw

Opening segment: Your typical HHH/Steph/Orton promo that made Cena/Orton at TLC.

Shield vs. Cody Rhodes/Goldust/Rey Mysterio: Solid match yet a little too short.

Miz TV: Very bad with Titus O'Neil and guest host Michael Strahan as guests, and Miz and Titus celebrate with Strahan despite Miz being a heel and Titus being a face. Huh?

Big E Langston/Mark Henry vs. Curtis Axel/Ryback: Not a great match.

Regular Divas vs. Total Divas:The same elimination match that took place at Survivor Series and with the same result. Bad match too.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Damien Sandow: Another pointless hardcore match with the wrestlers being the props, as this was a Hamptons Hardcore Match.

CM Punk/Daniel Bryan vs. Wyatt Family: Very average match as Rowan got the majority of the ring time.

Kofi Kingston vs. Miz: Decent match.

Xavier Woods vs. Heath Slater: Squash.

Big Show/John Cena vs. Randy Orton/Alberto Del Rio: Not a great main event.

Yet another atrocious Raw. Weak action and Cena/Orton is clearly a bad decision as the fans were silent for it and they clearly want Daniel Bryan in the main event. Why aren't they delivering?

Grade: D

12/2/13 Raw

Opening segment: Solid Punk promo until Stephanie came out, and then corporate Kane, who made Punk vs. the Shield at TLC. A handicap match on PPV...

Damien Sandow vs. Dolph Ziggler: Decent match though Dolph loses clean, continuing his burial. Sandow gets an IC title shot against Langston though Dolph vs. Langston would be a much more interesting storyline.

Bella Twins/Natalya vs. AJ Lee/Tamina Snuka/Summer Rae: Bad match that was most notable for AJ skipping around the ring the entire time until she got pinned.

Barrett promo: Very good promo in his return, though Bad News Barrett? What was wrong with Wade Barrett?

Daniel Bryan vs. Erick Rowan: Decent match, though only because of the Bryan carryjob. Bryan will also have to face the Wyatt Family in a handicap match at TLC. Yep, two 3 on 1 handicap matches in one PPV.

R-Truth/Xavier Woods vs. Tons Of Funk: Not a great match.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Sin Cara: Solid match though Del Rio losing clean was quite puzzling.

Shield vs. Cody Rhodes/Goldust/Big Show: Very good match.

Miz/Kofi Kingston vs. Ryback/Curtis Axel: Not a great match and Miz cements his heel turn at the end.

Mark Henry vs. Fandango: Squash.

Real Americans vs. Prime Time Players: Bad match where the point was to tease Titus puking again.

Final segment: Your typical contract signing and typical Cena and Orton promos.

Yet another bad Raw. The last hour was complete filler until the contract signing, bad TLC build with TWO 3 on 1 handicap matches, weak booking, and the focus of the Authority storyline is now Orton vs. Cena, which was a feud in 2009 and 2007, with Bryan nowhere to be found despite getting SCREWED. Terrible.

Grade: D+

12/9/13 Raw

Daniel Bryan vs. Fandango: Very good opener.

LOL Moment Of The Year: The Rock/Vickie concert wins.

Damien Sandow vs. Santino Marella: Decent match.

Doublecross Of The Year: HBK turning on Bryan wins in a good segment.

Miz vs. Kofi Kingston: Not a great match.

Diva Of The Year: The Bellas win despite there being two of them.

Rey Mysterio/Big Show/Goldust/Cody Rhodes vs. Ryback/Curtis Axel/Real Americans: Very good match.

Superstar Of The Year: Bryan wins in a good segment.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Sin Cara: Cara wins again in a solid match.

Fan Participation Award: Bryan's "yes" chants win.

Brodus Clay vs. Xavier Woods: Squash.

Insult Of The Year: Stephanie McMahon wins.

CM Punk vs. Dean Ambrose: Very good match.

Extreme Moment Of The Year: Punk's win over Heyman wins.

Usos vs. Wyatt Family: Solid match.

Match Of The Year: Cena/Rock at WM wins.

Natalya vs. Tamina Snuka: Squash.

Final segment: Very good Cena/Orton promo exchange to close the show.

Surprisingly enough, this was a very good show considering that it was the Slammys. Lots of good wrestling, good PPV build, and minimal filler.

Grade: B+

12/16/13 Raw

Opening segment: Very good Orton promo that made Orton/Bryan as the main event.

Big Show/Rey Mysterio vs. Goldust/Cody Rhodes: Very good match.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Fandango: Solid match.

Mark Henry/Big E Langston vs. Real Americans: Solid match.

Ryback/Curtis Axel vs. Tons Of Funk: Squash.

Punk/HBK promo: Very good promo exchange that leads into the next match.

CM Punk/Usos vs. Shield: Very good match.

Natalya/Bella Twins vs. AJ Lee/Tamina Snuka/Alicia Fox: Decent match actually with Nikki taking a HARD kick to the face from Tamina.

Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan: Very good main event.

Another very good show which is a huge surprise considering how bad the last three months were. Very wrestling-heavy show.

Grade: A

12/23/13 Raw

Opening segment: A filler Authority promo.

Total Divas vs. Team Tamina: Very bad match with all the divas wearing Santa outfits.

Curtis Axel vs. Sin Cara: Decent match.

Wyatt Family vs. Daniel Bryan/Cody Rhodes/Goldust: Very good match.

Singing contest: Complete filler.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Fandango: Very bad pole match with Fandango getting the IC title shot. Dolph Ziggler losing to Fandango?

Usos vs. Prime Time Players: Not a great match.

Mark Henry vs. Damien Sandow: Squash as "Good Santa" beats "Bad Santa".

Real Americans vs. Los Matadores: Los Matadores win in a minute.

Ryback vs. Kofi Kingston: Not a great match.

John Cena/CM Punk/Big E Langston vs. Shield: Very solid match until the DQ finish... on a Christmas show.

Your typical Christmas Raw, only this one had less good matches than last year's, and the main event had a lame finish.

Grade: D+

12/30/13 Raw

Opening segment: Solid Punk/Shield promo exchange that made the opening match.

CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins: Solid match.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Curtis Axel: Average match.

Big E Langston vs. Fandango: Solid match.

Bad News Barrett: Your typical Barrett skit, which is just for the sake of cheap heat, which is a waste of Barrett considering that he was a main event player in 2010.

Damien Sandow vs. Great Khali: Bad match.

R-Truth vs. Brodus Clay: Bad match.

Heyman/Lesnar promo: Very good as usual until Mark Henry comes out and Lesnar destroys him.

Bella Twins/Funkadactyls/Eva Marie vs. Aksana/Alicia Fox/Rosa Mendes/Kaitlyn/Summer Rae: Bad match.

Gauntlet: Bryan wrestles Luke Harper in a good match, then Erick Rowan in an average match, and doesn't really wrestle Bray Wyatt and turns heel and joins the Wyatt Family. Yep.

Very mediocre show to close out 2013. It started out okay but went downhill after Langston/Fandango and Bryan turning heel or even teasing it is a bad move as nobody would accept it. How hard is it to just give him the ball and run with it?

Grade: C-
