Opening segment: Pretty good and Cornette announces that nobody’s champion and that there will be KOTM qualifying matches every week until Slammiversary.
Motor City Machine Guns vs. Jerry Lynn/Tiger Mask: Solid match.
Christopher Daniels vs. Raven: Pretty good first blood match as it was quite different and still had weapon usage.
Roode/Young segment: Pretty decent. I know the Roode/Young feud didn’t click with many but I liked that they didn’t rush it, put Roode over Jarrett first THEN have Young beat Roode. That was good booking though they did drag it out a month too long.
Kurt Angle vs. Rhino: Good match and Angle qualifies for KOTM.
This show was very good. Built Slammiversary very well and the wrestling was good all around.

Slammiversary press conference: Pretty entertaining segment to build the PPV.

Chris Harris vs. James Storm: Great match and probably the best Impact match of 2007. The finish didn’t even bug me as it put BOTH guys over and created suspense as to who the 5th participant in KOTM will be.
Really good wrestling-based show.

Another good show that had good wrestling and started a lot of feuds.

Good show. This was the same good wrestling and storyline progression that’s been taking place for months.

Kurt Angle vs. Abyss: Solid Six Sides of Steel match until Judas Mesias comes out of the center of the ring and attacks Abyss. A SSoS match was a backdrop to an angle...
Some good wrestling, but all of it was badly booked.

Not a great show for TNA's first ever two hour Impact. The first hour had almost nothing good and I wasn’t feeling the Angle/Sting build at all since it was more soap opera build.

Champions segment: This was a good segment that put over the people who won or successfully defended titles at BFG and gave Christian and Angle rematches for their BFG losses.
Kaz vs. Lance Hoyt: Decent match.
Abyss vs. Disco Inferno: Squash.
Christian Cage vs. Samoa Joe: Good main event outside of the booking with Christian getting his win back right after the PPV and Joe moving down to a feud with Roode after beating Christian, and Joe giving Christian his first pinfall loss was never mentioned once on this show.
Not the worst Impact but it was a bit all over the place with some questionable booking and Angle and Nash were all over the show in the backstage skits, which featured way too much goofyness, though the "I'll buy you porn!" line was classic.

James Storm vs. Eric Young: Solid match, albeit for the LAME “drinking championship”.
Petey Williams vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Shark Boy vs. Havok: No real match, which was predictable as Team 3D attacked ALL OF THEM.
Kurt Angle vs. Sting: Good match but the booking with Kurt winning back the belt two weeks later was beyond insulting.
Tenay/Cornette segment: Very bad. Cornette’s going to review the decision and make a final decision at the end.
Awesome Kong vs. Angel Williams: Squash.
Junior Fatu vs. Robert Roode: Boring match...
Final segment: Very bad and a tag match for the TNA title is made.
VERY bad show. The second hour was a complete wash and the booking was a middle finger to anybody who ordered BFG.

Steiner/AJ takedown challenge: Started off slow but eventually became a decent segment as Steiner made this work.
Kurt Angle/Robert Roode/James Storm vs. Eric Young/Sting/Samoa Joe: Good match.
Outsiders segment: Meh... I was just WAITING for when Hall would get drunk again and fuck up the angle.
Pretty good show. Lots of good wrestling and great Genesis build.

Abyss/Mitchell/Mesias segment: The attack on Abyss was good but the rest? No.
Booker T vs. Chris Harris: Boring match.
FoF 2: Boring...
Jay Lethal vs. Johnny Devine: Decent strap match.
FoF 3: Very stupid... Steiner gets the X Division title shot and Daniels is fired. They should have kept it on Senshi as he was leaving anyway and it wouldn't have over complicated things.
Kurt Angle/Robert Roode vs. Christian Cage: Good match.
Bad show. The FoF segments took up way too much time and the execution of it was ridiculously convoluted, and this show was full of stupidity outside of those segments with drunk Jackie and the Reign/Rellik stuff.

3D/Devine segment: VERY funny segment. Bubba saying "HO! HO! HO!" after every dirty joke was awesome.

Santa's Workshop Knockouts Street Fight: This match was a mess!
Rellik vs. Black Reign vs. Abyss vs. Shark Boy: Not a good match.
Kaz vs. AJ Styles: Really good match although the stuff with the reindeer suit was pretty dumb.
Final segment: Angle puts "Santa Claus" in the ankle lock. Eh…
Not a great show. The show was VERY gimmicky with a very Russo-esque feel and the Christmas party skits were the complete opposite of the Thanksgiving skits.
