2002 Monday Night Raw Reviews

1/7/02 Raw

Opening segment: Your typical Vince promo that built a Vince/Flair match.

Rob Van Dam vs. Test: Very weak match.

Billy/Chuck vs. Scotty 2 Hotty/Albert: Another weak match.

Austin promo: Just a filler promo to announce himself entering the Rumble. Like Austin would be staying home at a big 4 PPV...

Edge vs. Lance Storm: Squash.

Steve Austin/Rock vs. Booker T/Big Bossman: A very boring "tag match for the ages". Yes, a match involving Booker and Bossman was hyped that way.

Chris Jericho vs. Rikishi: A joke of a match where Rikishi dominates the champ until a ref bump and belt shot beats Rikishi. Terrible.

Dudley Boyz vs. Tazz/Spike Dudley: Best match on the show by far but that doesn't mean anything.

Wet T-Shirt Contest: Your typical T&A segment, involving Trish and Terri.

Final segment: Very good HHH return as a babyface that starts a feud with Kurt Angle.

Outside of HHH's return this show sucked. Bossman in a "tag match for the ages", Storm getting squashed, and Jericho needing help to beat Rikishi.

Grade: D-

1/14/02 Raw

Opening segment: Solid Jericho/Flair promo exchange to open the show.

Bubba Ray Dudley vs. Spike dudley: Complete nothing match as Stacy interference backfired less than two minutes in.

Billy/Chuck vs. Hurricane/Tajiri: Another nothing match.

Jazz vs. Jacqueline: Squash.

Kane vs. Kurt Angle: Solid match.

Edge/Rob Van Dam vs. Test/William Regal: Solid match.

Big Show vs. Booker T: Complete nothing match.

APA/Rikishi vs. Chris Jericho/Christian/Lance Storm. Bad match where Faarooq has Jericho beat until a distraction allows him to win. Yep, the world champ not only teamed with midcarders, but was almost beat by them too!

Final segment: Good HHH promo until Austin comes out and undertaker attacks both of them.

Very weak Raw. Outside of the promos and two good midcard matches in the middle this did a weak job of building the Royal Rumble.

Grade: C-

1/21/02 Raw

Rob Van Dam/Tazz/Spike Dudley vs. Dudley Boyz/Booker T: Very solid opener.

Edge vs. William Regal: Solid IC title match.

Flair/Vince promo: A pretty good promo exchange to continue their feud.

Val Venis vs. Mr. Perfect: Complete filler that results in Austin attacking both of them.

Billy/Chuck vs. Big Show/Kane: Bad match.

Godfather promo: Complete filler that results in him cleaning house on Lance Storm.

Rock/HHH vs. Kurt Angle/Chris Jericho: Very good main event.

A better Raw than usual because of the first hour and the main event.

Grade: B

1/28/02 Raw

Big Show vs. Kane: Very weak opener.

Rob Van Dam vs. William Regal: Complete nothing match.

Lance Storm/Christian vs. Godfather/DDP: Very average match with Storm getting pinned once again.

Vince/Flair promo: Very good promo exchange that pushes the return of the NWO.

Chris Jericho vs. Maven: This was actually a very solid match and Jericho's only clean win as champ.

Trish Stratus/APA vs. Jazz/Billy/Chuck: Very average match once again.

Booker T vs. HHH: Very weak match with Booker only winning due to Christian interference.

Steve Austin vs. Kurt Angle: Very good main event.

What was good was very good, but there were more misses on this show.

Grade: C-

2/4/02 Raw

Booker T vs. HHH: Kurt Angle runs in just as the match gets going.

Rob Van Dam vs. Bubba Ray Dudley: Not a great match.

Billy/Chuck vs. APA vs. Tazz/Spike Dudley: Very boring tag title match with Tazz and Spike retaining.

Vince/Flair promo: This was just to promote the NWO's debut. The NWO didn't work in 1999 nor did it work in 2000, so why 2002?

Rikishi vs. William Regal: Not a great match.

Stephanie/HHH promo: This was to announce the renewal of their wedding vows next week.

Jazz vs. Trish Stratus: Not a great women's title match with Jazz retaining.

Steve Austin/Rock vs. Undertaker/Chris Jericho: Very meh main event.

A very boring show void of any highlights.

Grade: F

2/11/02 Raw

Opening segment: Decent Undertaker promo on The Rock.

Chris Jericho vs. Edge: Solid match though Jericho needed to cheat to beat a midcarder once again as champ.

Goldust vs. Rikishi: Complete nothing match until RVD ran in.

Kurt Angle vs. Godfather: Squash.

Steve Austin vs. Undertaker: Very boring match as it was mainly all striking at a slow pace.

Booker T vs. Tazz: Complete nothing match with Test interference two minutes in.

Torrie Wilson vs. Stacy Keibler: Terrible "match".

Rob Van Dam vs. Christian: Solid match.

Final segment: HHH and Stephanie renew their wedding vows in a LONG segment where HHH turns on Stephanie and cements his face status.

Very bad show that did a lackluster job of building No Way Out as this was all about HHH and Stephanie.

Grade: D-

2/18/02 Raw

Opening segment: Very good Austin promo that results in him getting arrested.

Hardy Boyz vs. Lance Storm/Christian: Solid match.

Kane vs. Mr. Perfect: squash.

Hogan/Rock promo: Very good and Hall and Nash attack Rock after he Rockbottomed Hogan, spraypaint him, and then crash an 18 wheeler into the ambulance he was in. Awesome.

Booker T vs. Godfather: Squash.

Edge/Rob Van Dam vs. Goldust/William Regal: Solid match.

HHH vs. Kurt Angle: Very good main event.

Very good Raw to kickoff the Wrestlemania build.

Grade: A-

2/25/02 Raw

Opening segment: Very good NWO promo.

Billy/Chuck vs. Hardy Boyz: Very average match.

Rob Van Dam vs. Lance Storm vs. Big Show: Not much of a match with RVD winning in two minutes.

Booker T vs. Rikishi: Complete nothing match.

Jericho/Stephanie/HHH promo: Very lackluster, much like this feud was as Jericho, the WORLD CHAMP, was basically Stephanie's lackey.

Jazz vs. Mighty Molly: Solid match.

Chris Jericho vs. Kurt Angle: Very good undisputed title match with Jericho retaining because of Kane.

Steve Austin vs. Mr. Perfect: Weak main event with Mr. Perfect main eventing in 2002 and having a competitive match with Austin too despite getting squashed by Kane last week.

Quite the lackluster show, as this was full of nothing matches and bad storylines, plus Mr. Perfect main eventing in 2002?

Grade: D+

3/4/02 Raw

Steve Austin vs. Booker T: The NWO interferes just as the match got going, when Booker was in control. Huh?

Scotty 2 Hotty/Albert vs. Test/Mr. Perfect: Bad filler match.

Goldust vs. Tazz: A nothing hardcore title match.

Jazz vs. Trish Stratus: A very average match as Trish was still inexperienced.

Undertaker promo: A good promo featuring him destroying David Flair.

Rob Van Dam vs. Lance Storm: Very good match.

Scott Hall vs. Spike Dudley: Squash.

HHH vs. Kurt Angle: Solid cage match until the end when it became extremely overbooked with Stephanie interference. Jericho wasn't involved in this match at all as this was all about HHH/Stephanie.

A complete placeholder show that did a lackluster job of building Wrestlemania.

Grade: D+

3/11/02 Raw

Hardy Boyz/Rob Van Dam vs. Dudley Boyz/William Regal: Decent opener.

Angle promo: This was pretty good as it made Angle/Booker vs. Edge/? for later.

Rikishi vs. Test: Complete nothing match with Mr. Perfect interference too. This was on the WM go-home show?

Goldust vs. Al Snow: Al wins the hardcore title in a squash.

Edge/Big Show vs. Kurt Angle/Booker T: Mediocre match as Big Show was in it the majority of the time.

Christian vs. Billy: Another mediocre match with Christian needing DDP's help to beat a tag wrestler.

Lita/Trish Stratus vs. Jazz/Stacy Keibler: Very bad match.

Jericho/HHH segment: Jericho attacks HHH's knee.

NWO vs. Steve Austin/Rock: Mediocre main event to close the show.

Outside of the first 20 minutes or so this show was terrible. Weak matches and the main storyline of this show was Jericho running over HHH's dog. Yep. Between that and the lack of clean victories no wonder Jericho's reign was a failure.

Grade: D

3/18/02 Raw

Opening segment: Very good promo exchange where Hogan officially turned face and made the main event.

Rob Van Dam vs. Christian: Very solid IC title match.

Trish Stratus vs. Lita: Very short and average match until Jazz and Ivory attack both.

Vince/Flair promo: Very good promo exchange that announced the brand split and WWF draft.

Edge/Kane vs. Kurt Angle/Booker T: Solid tag match.

Maven vs. Al Snow: All angle to debut Brock Lesnar who destroys both Maven and Al as well as Spike Dudley.

Billy/Chuck vs. Dudley Boyz: A tag title match that only served for the Dudleys to put Stacy through a table after she accidentally cost them the belts.

HHH promo: Very good promo exchange with Stephanie where HHH vs. Jericho/Stephanie is made for next week with Stephanie leaving the WWF forever if they lose.

NWO vs. Hulk Hogan/Rock: Not a great main event as it was just to establish Hogan as a face.

Very good Raw and easily one of the best of the year.

Grade: A-

4/29/02 Raw

Eddie Guerrero vs. Jeff Hardy: Decent opening match...

Austin/Flair segment: Not a great segment.

Booker T vs. Rob Van Dam: Solid...

Brock Lesnar vs. Shawn Stasiak: Squash...

Undertaker/Hogan segment: Very boring… Hogan’s still a draw but he’s simply not championship material in 2002.

Jazz vs. Bubba Ray Dudley: Not a great match.

Spike Dudley vs. Goldust: Okay match but nothing special...

Hulk Hogan vs. William Regal: Wasn't much of a match as Undertaker came in and beat up Hogan immediately.

Weak show. Bad matches and this continued the pushing of stale characters/gimmicks (NWO, Hogan) in top spots.

Grade: D+

5/6/02 Raw

Trish Stratus vs. Jazz: Not a great match as Trish was still green. The hardcore title schenanigans after the match was good though.

NWO segment: Very boring like usual as Big Show explained why he turned heel and joined the NWO.

William Regal vs. Spike Dudley: Regal wins the title in an absolute squash and D’Lo Brown returns after the match.

Brock Lesnar vs. Shawn Stasiak: Another squash match.

Hogan/Undertaker segment: Pretty bad segment where the focus of it was on Undertaker’s motorcycle, which Hogan destroyed later on.

Rob Van Dam/Jeff Hardy vs. Booker T/Eddie Guerrero: Best match of the show by far.

Swimsuit competition: Pretty bad segment that started a feud between Molly and Terri.

Steve Austin/Bradshaw/Ric Flair vs. NWO: Very boring main event where Flair turns on Austin and Bradshaw to help the NWO win.

A very weak episode of Raw. The wrestling was pretty bad and the booking continued to focus on stale characters.

Grade: D

5/13/02 Raw

Brock Lesnar vs. Hardy Boyz: Pretty good match and Lesnar/Heyman vs. Hardys is made for Judgment Day.

NWO segment: This wasn’t very good as NWO 2002 was becoming more of a joke by the week and was just stale.

Eddie Guerrero vs. Shawn Stasiak: Squash.

Molly Holly vs. Terri Runnels: This was a pretty bad match.

Hulk Hogan vs. Ric Flair: Another bad match and the finish was really overbooked.

Trish Stratus/Bubba Ray Dudley vs. Jazz/Steven Richards: Okay match at best that served to write off Jazz with the powerbomb through the table by Bubba.

Big Show/X-Pac vs. Bradshaw: A very boring match here, especially when Show and Bradshaw were wrestling each other.

Undertaker/Hogan segment: This was entertaining in a trainwreck way with Undertaker attaching Hogan to his motorcycle and dragging him around the arena.

Steve Austin vs. Booker T: Pretty bad main event.

A very weak show heading into Judgment Day… anything involving the NWO or Hogan was stale and the women’s match was very bad.

Grade: D

6/10/02 Raw

Opening segment: I understood why it happened considering the situation but it was still very rushed.

NWO vs. Shawn Stasiak/Spike Dudley/Tommy Dreamer: Squash.

Bradshaw vs. William Regal: Not a great match.

Molly Holly vs. Trish Stratus: Okay match due to it being rushed.

Rob Van Dam vs. Eddie Guerrero: Solid match.

Undertaker/Hardys segment: Very good segment.

Brock Lesnar vs. Bubba Ray Dudley: Decent match.

NWO segment: Ugh... the second time they've been on the show. The only good part was Booker T getting kicked out. The only good NWO was the original one...

Vince McMahon vs. Ric Flair: Match was decent but the finish sucked because it was rushed. It all came out of nowhere...

This show was a mess...

Grade: C-

7/1/02 Raw

Jeff Hardy vs. Rob Van Dam: Good ladder match with RVD winning and unifying the IC and European titles.

Bubba Ray Dudley/Trish Stratus vs. William Regal/Molly Holly: Decent match.

Rock promo: Great promo exchange with Eddie Guerrero that made the main event.

Brock Lesnar vs. Tommy Dreamer: Squash.

D'Lo Brown vs. Shawn Stasiak: Not much of a match as the Island Boys come in and attack them as expected.

Booker T vs. Chris Benoit: Good match.

Big Show vs. Spike Dudley: Squash.

DX reunion: This was a good segment that teased a HHH heel turn.

Rock vs. Eddie Guerrero: Great main event.

Good show again.

Booker T vs. Eddie Guerrero: Solid match.

Trish Stratus/Bubba Ray Dudley vs. Big Show/Molly Holly: Bad match.

Bradshaw vs. Jeff Hardy: Okay hardcore title match.

Moolah/Mae promo: Good promo with them getting taken out by the Island Boys. Props to them as they're 80 years old.

Undertaker vs. Chris Nowinski: Squash.

HHH promo: Good promo that revealed that HBK was put through a car window. A "who done it" angle.

Rock vs. Ric Flair: Good main event.

Solid show with the second hour being better than the first.

Grade: B-

8/5/02 Raw

Highlight Reel: Good segment that made Jericho/RVD for later.

Big Show vs. Bubba Ray Dudley: Bad tables match.

Bradshaw vs. Tommy Dreamer: Your typical hardcore title match.

Finkel/Lilian segment: Very bad with the Island Boyz attacking Lilian.

Chris Jericho vs. Rob Van Dam: Good match.

Very bad show with bad writing and poor booking.

Grade: C-

Opening promo: Solid HHH/Rock promo that made the main event.

Trish Stratus/Spike Dudley vs. Chris Nowinski/Molly Holly: Okay match.

Jeff Hardy vs. Rob Van Dam: Good match.

HHH/UnAmericans vs. Booker T/Goldust/Rock/Undertaker: Very good main event.

Good show.

Grade: B+

8/19/02 Raw

Opening segment: Was boring but set up a match...

Hardcore title battle royal: This wasn't much as it was VERY hard to follow.

Trish Stratus vs. Stacy Keibler mud wrestling match: This was bad...

HHH/Jericho segment: Pretty good...

UnAmericans vs. Undertaker/Booker T/Goldust: Was pretty good...

Rob Van Dam vs. Big Show: Was pretty bad and RVD was made to look like an afterthought when the Island Boyz/3MW attacked Big Show.

Jericho concert: Very good and Flair attacks him!

Rock vs. HHH: Pretty good main event.

This show was weak.

Grade: C

8/26/02 Raw

Opening segment: Wasn't good...

Booker T vs. Christian: Good but short.

William Regal/Chris Nowinski vs. Dudley Boyz: Wasn't that good...

Jimmy Snuka segment: This was VERY predictable with 3MW interrupting.

Chris Jericho segment: This was very good.

Chris Jericho vs. Jeff Hardy: Wasn't too bad...

UnAmericans segment: Kane returns in a good segment.

Rob Van Dam vs. Tommy Dreamer: This was really good.

Lilian Garcia vs. Howard Finkel: This was terrible.

HHH vs. Undertaker #1 contender's match: Bad main event.

This show was hammered but it had a lot of redeeming qualities. Below average, but barely.

Grade: C

9/2/02 Raw

Opening segment: HHH gets handed the WHC from GM Eric Bischoff. This was not a good segment as I always prefer the champion to earn his title and the title technically has no prestige either. It did set up a HHH/Flair match which was the only good part of the segment.

Trish Stratus/Bubba Ray Dudley vs. Molly Holly/Chris Nowinski: This was a tables match and was actually quite enjoyable as it had a lot of cool spots.

Booker T vs. William Regal: This was pretty disappointing as it wasn’t up to the standard of either man’s work at the time and felt like filler.

HHH vs. Ric Flair: This match was really good and HHH retained his WHC.

Kane vs. UnAmericans: Kane singlehandedly beats the tag team champions in a handicap match CLEANLY… technically, why should he even have a partner if he can beat the champs by himself? And it devalues the titles too…

Big Show vs. Tommy Dreamer: Not really a match as Dreamer beats on Show with a kendo stick, but it didn’t build to anything and was once again filler.

Jeff Hardy vs. Crash Holly: Once again, no real match as 3MW attacked Jeff as Bischoff thought he was going to Smackdown, but Crash reveals that he is instead. MORE filler…

Terri Runnels vs. Stacy Keibler: Lingerie Pillow Fight… even more filler.

HHH/Chris Jericho vs. Rob Van Dam/Ric Flair: Solid main event with RVD pinning HHH making him the #1 contender at Unforgiven. This was the only good part of the second hour.

VERY boring show as the second hour was a complete wash and the booking was just terrible.

Grade: D

9/16/02 Raw

Opening segment: A HHH and RVD promo exchange… HHH was stale on the mic and RVD just isn’t good on the mic.

Rico vs. Ric Flair: Decent match but moronic booking with Flair losing to Rico in around three minutes in a filler match and Flair gets pedigreed after the match too. That’s the epitome of a burial.

Booker T vs. Test: Pretty boring match… not much else to say.

UnAmericans vs. Bubba Ray/Spike Dudley: This was decent at best, nothing special.

Chris Jericho vs. Rob Van Dam: Really good match with Jericho winning the IC title from RVD. A good match with smart booking… Raw needed more of this.

William Regal vs. Kane: A squash pretty much until run-ins from the UnAmericans took place.

Bischoff segment: It was a good promo although it hyped up Billy/Chuck vs. 3MW, a match I had no interest in.

HHH vs. Jeff Hardy: This was pretty much a squash and it was the main event. Weak…

This show was a mess as the booking and anything involving HHH was just bad on this show.

Grade: D+

9/23/02 Raw

Trish Stratus vs. Molly Holly vs. Victoria: Decent women's title match with Trish retaining.

Bischoff/Booker promo: Very solid until 3 Minute Warning attack Booker.

Jeff Hardy vs. Big Show: Bad match.

Randy Orton vs. Steven Richards: Solid match.

Union Underground theme: This was just filler.

RVD/Flair promo: Pretty good until HHH attacks RVD and Bubba makes the save.

Chris Jericho vs. Goldust: Solid IC title match.

Kane/Hurricane vs. Lance Storm/Christian: Solid tag title match.

Booker T vs. Rico: Squash.

Ric Flair/HHH vs. Rob Van Dam/Bubba Ray Dudley: Solid main event.

Good show.

Grade: B

9/30/02 Raw

Opening segment: Decent Bischoff/Lita promo that ended up making the next match.

Booker T/Goldust vs. 3 Minute Warning: Bad match with Booker and Goldust losing.

Randy Orton vs. Lance Storm: Bad match.

Randy Orton vs. Christian: Bad match.

Jeff Hardy vs. Big Show: Bad match.

HHH vs. Bubba Ray Dudley: Good match.

Trish Stratus vs. Victoria: More of an angle to develop Victoria into a challenger.

Rob Van Dam/Tommy Dreamer vs. William Regal/Test: Decent match.

Chris Jericho vs. Kane: Good IC title match with Jericho retaining.

Decent show because of the second hour.

Grade: B-

10/14/02 Raw

Chris Jericho/Christian vs. Kane/Hurricane: A decent opening match and Jericho and Christian won the tag titles. Smart move.

Lance Storm vs. Al Snow: This was pretty disappointing as it wasn’t up to the standard of either man’s work at the time and felt like filler.

Jeff Hardy vs. Rico: Pretty bad match as Hardy was his unmotivated, sloppy self and the match was pretty pointless too.

Kane segment: Very bad segment where HHH reveals that Kane is a murderer and a drunk driver. Why they thought this angle would work, I don’t know.

Jacqueline/Trish Stratus vs. Victoria/Molly Holly: Okay match but the finish didn't involve either of the two who are wrestling at the PPV. Makes no sense considering that this is the show before the PPV...

Pat Patterson/3MW segment: Very predictable... the 3MW attacks got stale a month ago.

Chris Nowinski vs. Tommy Dreamer: Meh... very dull match and was heatless too.

Orton segment: Randy Orton turns heel before taking time off due to injury. This was one of the highlights of the show.

Big Show vs. Booker T: Not a great falls count anywhere match and Big Show actually won. Ugh…

HHH vs. Rob Van Dam: Very substandard lumberjack match.

This show was a debacle due to bad booking and bad storylines and subpar wrestling action.

Grade: F

10/21/02 Raw

Opening segment: A very boring HHH promo, however it gets worse later in the show unfortunately.

Jeff Hardy vs. Chris Nowinski: The first match of the night, and it wasn’t very good.

William Regal/Lance Storm vs. Bubba Ray/Spike Dudley: This was an okay match, nothing special.

Bischoff segment: He announces a new match type for Survivor Series, the Elimination Chamber.

Test vs. D’Lo Brown: Not a great match at all but the stuff after the match with Stacy aligning with Test was quite interesting.

Christian/Chris Jericho/Victoria vs. Booker T/Goldust/Trish Stratus: Pretty good intergender tables match.

HHH segment: He shows a video of himself dressed up as Kane screwing a mannequin in a coffin representing “Katie Vick”, Kane’s storyline dead girlfriend who he killed by driving under the influence. The worst segment in Raw history and the worst storyline in WWE history.

Tommy Dreamer vs. Al Snow: Not a great match as it was a Singapore cane match and was total filler.

Big Show vs. 3 Minute Warning/Rico: Big Show squashes a tag team where both members are huge and their manager. A really bad squash match.

HHH/Ric Flair vs. Kane/Rob Van Dam: Okay match that was ruined by the absurd Kane/HHH storyline.

Terrible show… just terrible. Matches sucked and anything involving HHH/Kane was just absurd.

Grade: F

10/28/02 Raw

Opening segment: Hurricane shows footage of stuff removed from "HHH's ass" and a casket match between HHH and Kane is announced. It was pretty bad...

Rob Van Dam/Tommy Dreamer vs. Lance Storm/William Regal: This was a pretty good match...

Chris Jericho/Christian vs. Bubba Ray/Spike Dudley: 3MW attacked Spike before the match even started.

Test vs. Goldust: Boring...

Chris Jericho/Christian vs. Bubba Ray Dudley/Jeff Hardy: Good tag title match and the right team won.

Bischoff segment: This was pretty good as he went more in depth into the Elimination Chamber concept by explaining that it is a mixture of the Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, and War Games...

Booker T vs. Chris Nowinski: This was a pretty boring match as their styles didn’t mesh too well...

Trish Stratus vs. Jacqueline vs. Molly Holly: Pretty good women’s title match...

HHH vs. Kane casket match: It wasn't good but I liked the ending though with HBK popping out of the casket and costing HHH the match.

This show was a vast improvement over the last two debacles but it still wasn't good. Still too much Katie Vick crap and a lot of the matches were uninspiring.

Grade: C-

12/2/02 Raw

Dudley Boyz vs. 3 Minute Warning: Pretty boring match... not a good way to start the show at all.

Trish Stratus vs. Ivory: Okay match at best, nothing special.

Tommy Dreamer/Jeff Hardy vs. Lance Storm/William Regal: Okay match but short and I felt like I saw this match many times before.

Batista vs. Hurricane: Boring squash match...

Chris Jericho vs. Booker T: Pretty good midcard match to advance the Booker/Goldust vs. Jericho/Christian feud.

Jacqueline vs. Victoria: Wasn't bad except for the result with Jacqueline winning.

Victoria promo: Yikes, that was bad! But Steiner saved it a little.

HHH vs. Rob Van Dam #1 contender's match (HBK special referee): This was pretty good although HHH winning was really predictable and made me fear that he’d get the belt right back at Armageddon.

This show, while it had a lot of wrestling, was very mediocre. The first ur was a wash pretty much and the booking was pretty bad. Very by the numbers and boring.

Grade: D+

12/9/02 Raw

Booker T/Goldust vs. Lance Storm/William Regal: A pretty good opening match...

Steven Richards vs. Jacqueline: A pretty boring match...

Rob Van Dam vs. Batista: Another nothing match.

Chris Nowinski/D'Lo Brown vs. Al Snow/Maven: Another pretty boring match.

HHH vs. Jeff Hardy: Squash. A guy as over as Jeff is, no matter how badly he’s letting himself go, shouldn’t be squashed.

Flair promo: A very good promo on Shawn Michaels.

Kane vs. 3 Minute Warning: Complete handicap squash...

Trish Stratus/Dudley Boyz vs. Victoria/Christian/Chris Jericho: This was a pretty good tables match.

Ending segment: This was good hype for HHH/HBK although I worried that they’d put the belt back on HHH, which they did.

Another weak show. While this did hype Armageddon decently, there wasn’t much good wrestling and the booking was very questionable.

Grade: D+
